Ohhh I so want to eat that....I miss real Spanish Paella
ReplyDeleteOne of these days I'll have to write a post about how to make a paella... it's so simple!!! The key is as always in the ingredients. And the pan!
ReplyDeleteThere are hundreds of different paella recipes, and hundreds of other rice dishes done with the same short-grain rice in this pan (or in a clay one in the oven) that aren't called paella. Basically each town in the Alicante and Valencia provinces has their own recipe! It's fun to hear grannies argue about what goes or doesn't go in a paella! The only thing everyone agrees on is the rice and saffron! :p
